Which gate do I drop off and collect my child from?
Children in Hedgehogs and Foxes classes enter school using the front entrance and use the side gate to exit the school. Children in Squirrels and Badgers classes use the front entrance to enter and exit the school. In the fine weather, all children are dismissed from the gate on the field.
Is there Breakfast Club and After School Club availability?
Our Early Bird Breakfast Club and Red Kite After School Club are available from 7.30am – 5.30pm (4.25pm on a Friday). Please contact Mrs Paige in the school office for the online sign up details for these clubs.
What equipment will my child need?
Children are welcome to bring a pencil case but do not need one as all stationary is provided by the school. Children will need a water bottle in school every day. In the Summer, children can bring a sun hat/cap and sun screen to apply.
Backpacks
Please do not send children to school with a backpack, they are difficult to fit in the school lockers.
Glasses
If your child wears glasses please make sure they are brought to school every day.
Teddy Bear Friday
Every Friday your child is welcome to bring a small soft toy to school to join them for lunch.
Will the school give my child medicine?
Yes, you will need to sign a medical permission form. We are happy to administer medicine with your permission. The forms are available from the school office or can be emailed.
What happens on my child’s birthday?
Your child is welcome to wear ‘mufti’ (home clothes) to school on their birthday. If they have a birthday in a school holiday they can wear mufti on the last day of the term.
Will my child need to bring in a PE kit?
All children will wear their PE kit to school on the days they are taught PE. They will not need a PE kit at school.
