Vote 4 Us

Our school council is called ‘Rights Respect Warriors’, and we try to make life better for all children at the school. Each year group vote for one child who can represent their views. We also vote for Learning Ambassadors every year. Children in Year 6 take part in democratic ‘Hustings’.
We meet regularly and discuss a range of issues: these are just a few of the things we have achieved: organising the Teddy Bear Picnic for the pre-school children and Hedgehogs, sponsoring a rare breed sheep, planning the fund raising events, building a log circle to resolve problems with ‘What’s Happening’, making a friendship bench and establishing a worry box.
This year, our ambassadors have visited the Salisbury Foodbank and dropped off our Harvest collection. They have also set up our Christmas tree in the St Thomas Christmas tree festival in Salisbury.
