Neurodevelopmental Pathway

Do you need support?
Wiltshire Children’s Community Health Services provide an assessment-only service for children and young people who are showing possible signs of autism and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). They also support children and young people who are on ADHD medication reviews. Their service covers Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES) and Wiltshire.  They are a team of Neurodevelopmental Practitioners including, a Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Community Paediatricians, Specialist Speech and Language Therapists and Specialists Nurses. They also have a team of Care Navigators who will support you during the assessment pathway. They all have experience of working with neurodivergent children and young people.
Telephone Advice
Parents and carers can call Wiltshire Parent Carer Council’s new Neurodevelopmental (ND) telephone advice line to discuss queries about autism and ADHD support and ND assessment.  The advice line is open Wednesdays and Fridays 10am – 5pm.  Call the Wiltshire Parent Council on 01225 764647 and select option 2. Parents and carers can also send an email if they prefer to ndi@wiltspcc.co.uk

I_am_autistic_card_2024  (printable)

Many members of the public don’t understand autism and how things they take for granted might cause difficulties for people on the spectrum. This card is a great way for you to let them know you are autistic and that you may need some extra time or help in certain situations.  We are happy to print out a card for you to use. Just contact the school office. For more support follow the link https://www.autism.org.uk/
