We wanted to keep you updated with the current ‘grounds work’ at the school. Squirrels class are having their outside area renovated, which is being funded by Wiltshire Council. The area is being levelled and paved with a seating area created so that more children can access the area at the same time. We have taken the opportunity to bury our school time capsule under the ground, with suggestions from the children on things we could put in our capsule. Here are just some of the things that were suggested:
- School cup and teddy
- Tie
- Photos of the children at our school from 1851 to the current day
- Drawings and writing about how the children want the world to be in the future
- Photos of our school awards
- A whole school photo of us all
- A coronation coin from the royal mint
