Our FONTS PTA is a group of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to make our school a better environment for children to learn. We raise extra funds through a wide range of fun and creative initiatives, events, and much, much more. You are welcome to join us at our next meeting.

Our aims
FONTS PTA (Friends of Newton Tony School) is a registered charity, Registered Charity Status No: 1044970, with the aim to raise funds for our beautiful school. The school that is small but, thinks big. Parents, Teachers, Families and Friends, work hard throughout the year raising vital funds to enhance the enjoyment of the children attending the school. All proceeds go to supporting the children with additional and extra-curricular equipment, funding trips, contribute to future building projects for the school. We accept donations.
Our fundraising events that have occurred have included:-
- Bags for School
- FONTS Bake Off
- Bonfire and Firework display
- Christmas raffle
- Charity Coffee morning
- Duck Race
- Photographic Competition
- Access to a Christmas online pantomime
- Three marquises for sporting events
- Sponsorship for the Year 5 and Year 6 Bikeability programme
- Games for the school breakfast and after school club
- Providing Easter eggs for the school annual Easter garden and bonnet competition
- Purchasing book tokens for the World Book day competition prizes
