I have lived in Cholderton for over thirty years. My commitment to Newton Tony School comes from a long association with it: my children all attended the school, I taught here for a while and my husband was a governor. I feel that local community is important, so I volunteer for the Link Scheme, I am on the Cholderton Village Hall committee and I run the Valley Book Group.
I love spending time with my family, especially my five grandchildren (soon to be six). My main hobby is quilting. I spend hours at my sewing machine. I also enjoy badminton, swimming, walking and reading.
I have lived in the area for 14 years after a full career in the Army (Royal Engineers) followed by 11 years with MOD as a civil servant. I am a family man with a wife and two daughters. My interests are golf, gardening and walking my dogs. At present I am a Unitary Councillor for Wiltshire County and a Parish Councillor for NewtonTony.
